Self-Cleaning & Mineral Care

Your alkaline water ionizer automatically self-cleans to protect the internal plates during everyday use.

That said, alkaline water is naturally rich in minerals, especially calcium. Over time, these minerals may appear as white scale, particularly in areas with hard water.

This is completely normal—and actually a sign that your machine is producing mineral-rich alkaline water.

Why Cleaning Is Still Needed

Even with self-cleaning, mineral scale can slowly build up and may reduce water flow after 1–2 years of regular use.

This is not a defect. It simply means your ionizer needs a scale cleaning to restore optimal performance.

The Easy Solution

Scale cleaning is quick and can be done at home easily using citric acid and our cleaning kit, you can remove mineral buildup and keep your machine working efficiently.

A Simple Prevention Tip

To slow mineral scale buildup, run Acidic Water from the upper spout for about 1–2 minutes once or twice a week.

This small habit helps reduce mineral accumulation over time and can extend the period between deep cleanings.
