How to Use the Machine

1. Producing Alkaline Water

Getting alkaline water is simple:

1. Select your desired alkaline level (1–4)
2. Press the ON/OFF button to start the water flow
3. Press ON/OFF again to stop

That’s it. The machine will guide you with audio prompts as it operates.

2. Water Flow Direction

When producing alkaline water, two types of water are generated at the same time:

• Alkaline water flows from the upper stainless steel flexible spout
• Acidic ionized water flows from the lower gray hose

Both are useful—just for different purposes.

Using Acidic Ionized Water

Why Acidic Ionized Water Matters

Acidic ionized water is especially beneficial for skin, hair, oral care, and cleaning. Instead of letting it go to waste, collect it in a basin or container for later use.

• Its effectiveness lasts 2–3 days after collection.

Common Uses for Acidic Ionized Water

• Facial washing: Astringent effect, helpful for acne and atopic skin
• Gargling after brushing: Helps disinfect the mouth and reduce gum inflammation
• Hair care: Use as a final rinse to support scalp health and reduce dandruff
• Pets: Spraying or bathing pets may improve skin condition, coat shine, and make brushing easier
• When You Need Acidic Water Immediately

Normally, acidic water comes from the lower gray hose while producing alkaline water.
If you don’t have acidic water saved and need it right away:

1. Select Acidic Water Level 1 or 2
2. Press ON/OFF

In this mode:

• Acidic water flows from the upper spout
• Alkaline water flows from the lower gray hose

⚠️ Important: DO NOT drink the alkaline water coming from the lower gray hose.

Which Level Should You Drink?

• Level 1 (pH 8.5): Children under 10
• Level 2 (pH 9.0): Most adults
• Level 4 (pH 10.0): For those with lifestyle-related conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure

If you’re new to alkaline water—especially if you previously drank mineral-free purified water—you may experience temporary mild stomach discomfort. This is normal as your body adapts.

Recommended Adaptation Schedule for New Users

To ease into alkaline water comfortably:

• Level 1: 2 days
• Level 2: 2 days
• Level 3: About 3 days
• Then move to Level 4, if appropriate for you

For infants before starting solid food, use Purified Water mode.

Purified Water Mode

Purified water from Ivyel is mineral-purified, not stripped like typical RO or purified water.

• Because alkaline reduced water is absorbed faster, prescription medications should be taken with Purified water
• Vitamins and general supplements may be taken with alkaline water

Cooking & Food Preparation

Best Uses for Alkaline Level 4

• Cooking
• Washing vegetables and fruits
• Washing rice and cooking rice

Alkaline reduced water has a strong cleansing effect—similar to soap—and helps remove surface residues such as pesticides and oxidized impurities.

💡 Try this at home:
Wash grapes, strawberries, or tomatoes with tap water, then with alkaline water. You may visibly see residues removed that aren’t noticeable with regular water.

Soups and broths also tend to taste richer and deeper in flavor.

Audio Settings & Power Notes

• The machine announces water levels through audio prompts
• Volume can be adjusted or muted (refer to the manual for instructions)
• After a power outage, all settings return to default and will need to be reset
