How to Troubleshoot Your Ivyel Alkaline Water Ionizer

Experiencing issues with your Ivyel water ionizer? Follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve common problems:

General Troubleshooting Steps

     1. Check the Power Supply and Fuse
          - Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into an electrical outlet.
          - Verify that the outlet is working by testing it with another device.
          - If you still don't have power on the machine, try replacing the fuse on the back of the machine.
     2. Reset the Ionizer
          - If the ionizer is not functioning properly, try resetting it.
          - Unplug the electric cord from the outlet.
          - Wait for 5 minutes to allow the machine to fully reset.
          - Replug the electric cord back into the outlet.
          - Wait for 2 minutes before using the machine to give it time to reset completely.

Specific Issues and Solutions

     1. No Water Flow
          - Check Water Supply: Ensure the water supply to the ionizer is turned on.
          - Inspect Filters: Clogged or old filters can reduce water flow. Replace filters if necessary.
          - Inspect Parts: Remove the water regulator and dust filter from the white hose to check if that resolves the issue. 
          - Check Hoses: Ensure there are no kinks or blockages in the hoses.

     2. Low pH Levels
          - Clean the Ionizer: Scale buildup can affect pH levels. Perform a cleaning as described in the maintenance guide.
          - Check Water Quality: Test your source water's pH and mineral content. Extremely soft or hard water can affect ionization.

     3. Water Leakage
          - Inspect Connections: Ensure all hoses and connectors are securely attached. We recommend you to disconnect and reconnect firmly. 
          - Check for Damage: Look for cracks or damage in the hoses and replace if necessary.
          - Service Parts: If water is leaking from the machine itself, it might be due to worn solenoid parts. Contact customer service for part replacements.

     4. Non-Responsive Buttons
          - Reset the Ionizer:Follow the reset procedure mentioned above.
          - Check Power Connection: Ensure the machine is properly powered.
          - Service Required: If the issue persists, it may need professional servicing. Contact customer service.

     5. Strange Taste or Odor in Water
          - Replace Filters: Old or clogged filters can affect water taste and odor.
          - Clean the Ionizer: Perform a thorough cleaning to remove any buildup that may cause taste or odor issues.
